Biography

Ms. Katharine N. Fierro has over 15 years of experience providing strategic advisory and business development services to the global energy industry.  Ms. Fierro has assisted public and private sector interests with respect to market and policy developments and participated in feasibility studies to achieve sub-regional natural gas integration projects.

From 2003 – 2005 she served as the Latin American representative for the International LNG Alliance (ILNGA). At the World Energy Congress held in Sydney, Australia in 2004 Ms. Fierro represented Peru.

In May 2005, Ms. Fierro was awarded a fellowship by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to conduct a study in natural gas and LNG in Washington, DC. During 2005-2006 she served as an energy consultant with the World Bank Group.

An economist by training, Ms. Fierro obtained her Masters Degrees in International Relations and Business Administration, both from American University in Washington, DC.
