Rasheed Turabi has spent 18 years on project and business development with the last 8 within the energy sector. He has worked internationally on a number of projects in South Asia, the Middle East and Europe within the public and private sectors. Most recently he had been working in the UK on the obligations, regulatory and project development side for one of the largest utility providers, designing projects and schemes with public sector stakeholders specialising in CHP and decentralised technologies.

His experience of developing and working on large energy efficiency retrofit and decentralised heat and power projects has motivated him to try and develop commercially viable options for new technologies, especially for the end consumer market. He is currently working on Infrared heating solutions for electrically heated properties backed up by off grid solar solutions. He also acts as an independent consultant to established organisations and start-ups wishing to enter the energy efficiency, renewables and decentralised energy sectors.

He has a degree in business and economics and a Masters in International Relations.
