Sunny serves as Country Director, Indonesia, for WADE. He has an extensive background in business and finance as a partner in Nimoi Holdings, Singapore and a Senior Advisor to Pacificap Holdings, Honolulu. Previously he was Senior Advisor to STIC Investments, the largest Korean Private Equity firm. Sunny was also President Director of Citigroup Indonesia and President & CEO of Kim Eng Securities North America, the largest investment bank in South East Asia. He was also concurrently President & CEO of Kim Eng Property Holdings. He was President & CEO of Good Morning Shinhan Securities USA, the investment banking and brokerage unit of Shinhan Financial Holdings, the largest financial holding company in Korea. He was responsible for all international operations of the company including New York and London. Sunny was a Director with Societe Generale in HK, Singapore, Seoul & Jakarta. He was an AVP of Asian Equities with Deutsche Morgan Grenfell in New York. Sunny started his career with Swiss Bank Corporation (Warburg) in New York. He was enrolled in the prestigious Swiss Bank-O'Conners finance training program at the Chicago Board of Trade. Sunny has been a member of the advisory council of ICG, the leading conflict prevention NGO founded by George Soros. He was also co-chair of the Asian Advisory Committee for Congressman Gary Ackerman and won the prestigious Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business award. Sunny was born in Seoul and raised in the Netherlands and the US.
